14 DAY TRIAL // The future plans for the Hitman franchise and possibly the next-gen Hitman game currently in development at IO Interactive will be revealed later today, according to an announcement from one of the developers.
The last few weeks saw some big rumors appear concerning the Hitman series, after the next-gen project from Square Enix Montreal was shut down, while the IO Interactive studio is still working on the franchise.
Now, according to a Twitter announcement from IO's Community Content Manager, a special open letter will soon be shared with fans who are interested in knowing what's going to happen with the franchise.
It's unclear when that letter will go public but it's going to surface on the official website later today, January 16.
It's possible that IO will confirm its new Hitman project, which should appear on platforms like the PS4 or Xbox One.
