Commuters in Culver City, California are appalled over a billboard promoting a new product by JCPenney.

According to Gawker, many are saying that a tea kettle debuted by the company reminds them of Hitler.

A photo of the tea kettle, which is designed by Michael Graves, has been posted to Reddit where users agree that it resembles the landmark pose and salute of the deceased German dictator.

As reported, this ad is placed on the 405 near Culver City, and it could very well be a marketing ploy to get people's attention.

The Telegraph identified the product as the Bells and Whistles Stainless Steel Tea Kettle, which used to be available on the JCPenney website.

However, it seems as the company has pulled the product from its online store. A link to it brings up a message explaining that the “product is not available at this time.”
