Hitachi 'W24H' - the Customizable Phone

Hitachi presented 'W42H', its CDMA 1x Win mobile phone, meant for the Japanese market.

Its clamshell design and the possibility of customizing its look make the 'W24H' a very stylish phone. The handset’s dimensions are 50 x 100 x 25 mm and it weighs 120 grams. It comes in black, white or orange and each phone includes snap-on parts, called "bangles" that can be replaced according to each person's tastes. The primary display is of 2.4 inches, with a resolution of 240 x 320, while the smaller external display has a resolution of 96 x 64. Apart from being stylish, the 'W24H' has a 2.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and image stabilization,a Yamaha Audio Engine, Infra-Red ray communication capability, PC Site Viewer, PC File Viewer,a MiniSD card slot, multi-tasking capability as well as 6 Mobile dictionaries. It also has the "Remote delete' function, enabling you to delete all the data stored on the phone, from a remote location. Although the Hitachi 'W41H' , its predecessor, was one of the first TV phones that came out in Japan, the 'W42H' does not have the TV playing capability.
The handset has an internal memory of 50Mb which can be extended to a maximum of 512Mb, by using a memory card.
