Hitachi presented 'W42H', its CDMA 1x Win mobile
phone, meant for the Japanese market.
Its clamshell design and the possibility of customizing its look make the 'W24H' a very stylish phone. The handset's dimensions are 50 x 100 x 25 mm and it weighs 120 grams. It comes in black, white or orange and each phone includes snap-on parts, called "bangles" that can be replaced according to each person's tastes. The primary display is of 2.4 inches, with a resolution of 240 x 320, while the smaller external display has a resolution of 96 x 64. Hitachi 'W41H' , its predecessor, was one of the first TV phones that came out in Japan, the 'W42H' does not have the TV playing capability.
The handset has an internal memory of 50Mb which can be extended to a maximum of 512Mb, by using a memory card.
