14 DAY TRIAL // Hip hop producer AraabMUZIK, whose work includes collaborations with Cam’ron, Busta Rhymes and Fabolous, is currently in hospital after having been involved in a shootout, the AP reports.
In a statement to the press, the star’s publicist makes it sound as if AraabMUZIK (real name Abraham Orellana) was not an active participant in whatever occurred, but rather an innocent bystander.
He says he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, suggesting he got caught in the crossfire.
The AP notes that police are now investigating to determine the exact causes of the incident, as well as to catch whoever is responsible.
DukeDaGod (real name George Moore), AraabMUZIK’s manager, tweeted a photo of the producer on the hospital bed, surrounded by people, with the caption, “Everyone wish my brother araabmuzik a healthy & pleasant recovery!!!”
He doesn’t offer more details and, as you can see at the link, the photo doesn’t offer either, as regards the producer’s actual condition.
