Having your two-year-old son or daughter listening to hip-hop or rap and then sing along to the many offensive lyrics that they don't even understand is a problem that the biggest names in the industry have already faced and/or acknowledged.

Not long ago, for example, Eminem said that he never allows his daughter to listen to her father's tracks as there is too much rage and violence contained in them. It seems that Beyonce's dad came across the same problem when he was baby-sitting with his grandson. And that made him come up with an idea that, according to him, revolutionizes the way parents see hip-hop and rap culture.

'When he [his grandson] hears a rap, he goes nuts, dancing and saying the lyrics. As a grandfather, I'm very concerned about what my grandson is saying', Knowles told MTV News. So he thought of releasing a special edition album, that will contain two discs and famous tracks that have had their lyrics re-written.

The compilation, out in stores on November 21, includes tracks like 'Shake Ya Tailfeather', 'Right Thurr', 'What You Know About That', 'Outta Control' and 'Touch It'. In order to be able to clean-up the lyrics for them, Matthew went through all the proper channels, asking the rappers' permission. He also hopes that many more will agree, probably for a future album.

But not everybody believes that what the manager is doing is right. Robert Peters, president of Morality in Media, said: 'What this would do is get the kid used to the song, and then when the real stuff comes, wow -- they're going to be even more in tune with the [original version of the] song. Really, this has a lot of parallels to what the tobacco industry was doing before Congress cracked down, and that's packaging an adult product to make it more appealing to children'.
