Hillary Scott Expecting Baby Girl

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott and husband Chris Tyrell are expecting their first child together, with a publicist for the singer confirming for Us Weekly that she is, indeed, expecting a baby girl.

Scott broke the happy news of her pregnancy to her fans on Twitter last December. Clearly, both she and Scott were thrilled.

“Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!” she wrote at the time.

Also on Twitter, she’s been keeping fans up to speed with the pregnancy, revealing how pampered and loved she was on a daily basis, but also other stuff to which pregnant women could relate.

“Who has two thumbs and just asked her husband, and very nicely I might add, to run into the grocery store for pop tarts? ME! Pregnancy,” she wrote in January.

“I've never dreamed weirder dreams than I have pregnant... if I could only recall all the details. It would make a killer movie!” Hillary was saying last month.

She’s not the only celebrity to want to share almost everything about her pregnancy experience with her fans and the rest of the world.

Another famously pregnant celebrity is Jessica Simpson who has been offering plenty of details on the experience while promoting a new season of her TV fashion series.

Just the other day, for instance, she accidentally revealed on Jimmy Kimmel that she was having a boy by making a “wiener” joke.

Kimmel didn’t even realize what she’d done until she pointed it out to him. Rumor has it she’ll name the boy Ace Johnson.

No word yet on what Hillary and Scott will be naming their daughter.

The two met in 2010 while on Tim McGraw’s Southern Voice Tour and started dating almost immediately. Chris popped the question to Hillary in 2011, over the Fourth of July weekend.
