Now is your best chance to walk a mile – or more, if you so desire – in Hilary Duff’s shoes. The star is the latest celebrity to join the Kick Up Your Heels campaign and donate her worn shoes for a good cause.

Hilary has agreed to donate two pairs of her favorite shoes: both are now up for auction on eBay, with the proceeds going solely for the Lancaster Opera House.

One is pair of tan slingback open-toed wedges from designer Jean-Michael Cazabat, while the other is a pair of Christian Louboutin black stiletto ankle booties.

Both display signs of wear but, Hilary promises on her Twitter feed, “they’re not too smelly.” Even better, both pairs come with autographs from the star herself, as well as a note handwritten by Duff.

In other words, for this kind of money, you don’t just get a designer product, but also an autograph from Hillary and the chance to do a good deed.

If this appeals to you, you should be prepared to dig deep into your pocket: the current bid is already sky high for both pairs of shoes, but the highest for the Louboutins.

Current bidding for the wedges is at $810 (€610), while for the booties at $1,025 (€772).

Duff isn’t the only celebrity to rummage through her closet and donate items for the good cause, a note on the product page on eBay notes.

Gillian Anderson, Christie Brinkley, Margaret Cho, Charlotte Church, Kelly Clarkson, Joan Collins, Faith Evans, Melissa Joan Hart, Carrie Ann Inaba, the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders and many, many others have also parted ways with their favorite heels to do whatever they can to support a good cause.

You can follow the link in the second paragraph to see all the shoes and items up for auction. Some of the heels are not wearable, since the stars donating them did not sign an autograph on the sole but on the side of the shoe.
