Hilary Duff gave birth to her first child, an adorable baby boy she named Luca, 3 months ago. She's slowly working her way to her pre-pregnancy figure but, even though she probably gained more weight than she should have, she has absolutely no regrets.
The star taped an appearance on bethenny with Bethenny Frankel the other day, which airs today, and among other things, she also talked about the steps she'd taken to get back in shape, JustJared
She knows she probably gained more weight than she should have, but Hilary isn't sorry that she did because she had the most fun ever.
Always being in the spotlight, Hilary has to keep a very close eye on what she eats and how it affects her body. For once, she didn't have to do that, she told Bethenny.
“My whole life I’ve worked out and exercised and been in the public eye and always kind of watched what I ate. And this was like a free pass and it was a blast,” the former Disney star explained.
However, when and if she has her second child, Hilary is determined to “try not to gain as much weight.”
“But I had fun [the first time]. I wouldn’t go back and change it because I had a lot of fun,” she added.
Fans will know that Hilary is already hard at work to get her body back, since she's photographed almost daily heading into her Pilates class.
Hilary also does spin classes, hikes and circuit training.
She tells the talk show host that she's also making an effort not to obsess on weight loss and to focus instead on fully enjoying the experience.
“I am working out and I’m trying and I’m trying not to [obsess]. Everyone wants their body back, but all in time. It took nine months to get there and so hopefully, it won’t take that long to get it off, but I’m doing it slowly,” the star says.
