14 DAY TRIAL // Hilary Duff is about to become a mommy for the first time. Way ahead of the tabloids and the paparazzi who might have spoiled the surprise for her, the star announced the happy news on her official webpage, in a post about her one-year wedding anniversary.
Hilary and husband Mike Comrie decided to share the joy they are feeling right now by re-posting photos of their lavish wedding, which took place one year ago.
However, Hilary also dropped the bomb on her fans, by surprising them with something more than just wedding photos: confirmation that she’s about to become a mother.
“Hello everyone! This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding!” Hilary writes on her official webpage.
“I can’t believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you’re having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!!!” the star gushes.
“We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!” Hilary adds.
Apparently, the love and support from the fans was actually outmatched by their amazing reaction to the news of the pregnancy.
Hours after the original post, Hilary was back online again to thank everybody for their wonderful messages, in response to the baby news.
“Wow! I am just overwhelmed by all of the wonderful messages everyone is sending! Thank you so much! Big hugs! Xxo,” the star writes.
Before meeting Mike in 2007, Hilary Duff dated Joel Madden for two years. He is now married to Nicole Richie and has two children with the former wild child.
Previously to dating Madden, Hilary was with Aaron Carter for another two years, but the relationship fizzled among reports that he cheated on her either with Lindsay Lohan or, even worse, her best friend.
