Gone are the days when all Prince Charming had to do to prove that he was the one to wake the princess from her prolonged nap was to gently kiss her.

Thus, it might not be long until Prince Charming wannabes find that the ultimate test for their worthiness is getting the high-tech bra that the princess is wearing to unhook without laying a single finger on it.

Long story short, a Japanese lingerie company has recently finished work on a state-of-the-art bra whose designers and makers say will only open for a woman's true love.

The working principles behind this fairly odd piece of lingerie are pretty straightforward: sensors that the bra is fitted with keep tabs on the wearer's heart rate, and send whatever information they collect to a smartphone app.

Depending on what a woman's heart is up to, the bra, cleverly dubbed the True Love Tester, knows whether or not it should open, Mirror tells us.

The bra's creators say that love alters a person's heart rate like no other experience does, hence the fact that there is no need to worry that the bra will pop open during other occasions when one's heart rate is likely to up, such as a job interview.

“When we fall in love, we experience an instant boost in excitement. That feeling is unlike any other excitement we encounter in life,” explains one of the specialists involved in the creation of this piece of clothing.

To put it in a nutshell, the True Love Tester only unhooks when it is utterly and completely sure its wearer is head over heels in love.

The company that designed this innovative bra is called Ravijour, and the True Love Tester was rolled out in order to mark its 10-year anniversary. For the time being, the high-tech piece of lingerie is not available for purchase.
