Tuesday morning, a Florida police chase lead to a Mercedes E-Series sedan crashing in Broward County, along a highway exit ramp.

This burglary in Miami-Dade County ended badly when police arrived at the scene a little too soon for the burglars' taste, WTSP reports.

It only took the police officers a few minutes to catch the burglars, as they made it easy by crashing on the interstate exit from I-95. Three suspects were in the car at the time.

As the driver was swerving across lanes to evade his pursuers, he lost a front tire and carried on driving. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guard rail in Ft. Lauderdale.

A bystander's car was also hit, as the suspects' getaway vehicle went up on two wheels at one point, making it impossible not to crash into the other vehicle.

After the car came to a screeching stop in a bed of bushes, the suspects jumped out and tried fleeing but couldn't make an escape. The police caught up to them in a matter of minutes.

They were linked to three other burglaries in the southern Miami-Dade County area. One of the suspects, identified as George Westbrook, was immediately placed under arrest for residential burglary, criminal mischief and grand theft. He is only 17 years old, and was identified by his family, that had watched the chase on TV.

The two other boys, Brandon Atwell and Jermaine Williams, 19 and 21 years old, will most likely be facing similar charges, with the added bonus of being tried as adults.

The burglars used a pillowcase to carry out goods from the victims' homes. An Apple monitor and its keyboard are some of the items recovered at the scene. An estimation of the damage is not available at this time.

The young Westbrook not only confessed to the burglaries, but implicated his two friends by describing how they proceeded to rob the victims' residence, step by step.
