Good girls get bad

This is not the first time (and, hopefully, it's not the last time, either) I'm writing about a casual game that wants nothing else but to innovate the genre. Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! is its name and you have probably heard about it already: either in one of the previous Softpedia coverages on the game, or because you know it was the winner of the Innovative '07 prize.

If it's the first time you read about it, you should know that Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! is a casual RPG title which promises to bring the new generation of narrative techniques to casual gamers, while offering a challenge, unlike the other similar titles available on the market. "Puberty has arrived to the casual market," the developer says about it, considering that every other game is child's play.

One of the most important aspects when it comes to the game is satire: it will bring players a sophisticated story that pokes fun at sexuality, society, superstition and politics - which are the most discussed topics of today's world.

Also, casual gamers who were starting to get bored of doing the same thing over and over again for +100 levels ("grab the cake, deliver the cake, take the money" sounds familiar?) will be delighted to hear that Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! comes with an open world players can truly explore - they can talk to characters and/or play games against them. Losing these games won't automatically mean "game over" or "repeat the game" as it usually happens in other casual titles, so it's again a brand new thing. It's no wonder that such a title received the award for innovation!

So, if you are interested and want to give it a try, you'll be happy to find out that Mousechief, the game's developer, has just released it.
