takeMS just announced the launch of a new high performance DDR2 memory module from the Mach2 series of products, which are all certified to operate in a stable manner at the 1066MHz frequency and very low latencies. These new memory products are Nvidia certified to work with all Nvidia powered mainboards in the frame of the SLITM Memory partner program, as they offer high constant performance and two operating modes for users, a normal one and an overclocked one.

The new takeMS DDR2 memory modules are designed and manufactured using strict compliance with the JEDEC's standards and guidelines in
order to provide a very stable platform while running at speeds between 800MHz and 1066MHz, with latency timings starting at 5-5-5-15. In the overclocked mode, users may activate the better memory latency timings that would make the 800MHz memory use the 3-3-3-8 latency, while the faster 1066 memory module would use the 5-5-5-18 settings.

"The market of gamers and gamblers is increasing rapidly", said Edmund Dägele. "High performance modules are more and more requested. Using new manufacturing technologies, we can now guarantee a constant operating performance of 1066 MHz to our customers. We are particularly concerned that our customers will receive the same product with the same quality when they purchase the same item number from."

"Up to now it was not possible to manufacture standardized memory modules with more than 800 MHz. NVIDIA has created a voluntary standard with the Enhanced Performance Profiles. takeMS produces according to this standard and therefore achieves full compatibility and high user-friendliness, also at higher clock frequencies", comments Axel Gerber, Technical Director of takeMS.

These new takeMS DDR2 memory modules are all Nvidia SLITM certified, while also closely adhering at the JEDEC standard. They come in memory kits with standard 2x1GB modules running at either 800MHz or 1066MHz and thanks to the fact that they are coming in perfectly equilibrated pairs, it is easy to lay them into a dual channel mode for increased performance. As these are high performance memory modules, they also come with a factory mounted efficient aluminum heat sink that allows them to operate at higher voltages without the heat build up danger.
