Windows customers can easily monitor new high impact issues which impact their operating systems, and also access the necessary support resources to resolve problems.

Essentially, the Redmond company is offering customers three RSS feeds designed to help them stay up to date with the latest glitches associated with the Windows client and server platforms.

According to the software giant, users can subscribe to the Top Windows Server Solutions from Support; Top Windows Client Solutions from Support or Top Windows Client Solutions for IT Professionals from Support.

As the official labels imply, the links offer centralized information on solutions for Windows Server and Windows Client.

Of course, the resources are available for all supported versions of Microsoft’s proprietary operating system.

“Our content and product quality teams have been working on some new ways of aggregating information gleaned from our support organizations to make available both top issue that we know about and also solutions to common issues that our support teams see,” noted Microsoft’s Doug Stewart.

At the same time, the company’s Rob Margel, noted that users will find the links useful if they “like consuming your information via RSS and want to keep up to date with the latest high impact support issues for Windows.”

The feeds have just gone live, so for the time being, the content available is not all that consistent. Of course, this is bound to change in the future, as more and more solutions are being added.

In addition, Microsoft is not yet done when it comes down to supplying customers with new RSS feeds for high impact support issues for Windows.

The promise from Stewart is that more RSS feeds will follow. However, there are no specific details about what additional products will be covered in the future.
