Well, it's not quite a hidden trick since it is published on the official page of YouTube but only a few Internet users heard about it. If you didn't know, you can customize the appearance of a YouTube clip straight from an official page hosted by the famous online video platform. Basically, you can choose a different color theme and the content displayed by the embedded player. "Name and
design your player, then fill it with videos from your videos or playlists. Once you've generated the embed code and saved the player, you can copy and paste the code to your website or blog," it is mentioned on the official page of the trick.
Some time ago, the parent company Google rolled out a new YouTube player appearance, especially created for embedded clips that allow users to view related videos straight from its interface without visiting the official page of the service. Also, the search giant implements some new buttons that bring the users the possibility to view a certain clip in full screen mode.
Also, it seems like the Mountain View company is now interested in implementing a new format in the YouTube videos that would allow viewers to open videos into a widescreen view especially addressed to this kind of monitors.
YouTube was acquired in October 2006 for $1.65 billion, the product quickly becoming the best service in its category. Since it was acquired by Google, all the users were talking about an anti-copyright filter that would be able to block the videos infringing somebody's copyright.
However, the parent company Google was sent to the judge several times because other media firms such as Viacom sued it for copyright infringement. The MTV owner even required $1 billion in damages, after it previously demanded the removal of 100.000 clips from the page.
