Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed yet another hero hailing from the Warcraft universe, which will be joining the fray in the company's upcoming multiplayer online battle arena title, Heroes of the Storm.

Blizzard released a new trailer, showing Anub'arak, the insectoid undead king, stepping into the arena in Heroes of the Storm, after serving his time as a World of Warcraft boss in two different instances, the Azjol'Nerub dungeon in Dragonblight and the Trial of the Crusader raid.

Anub'arak was resurrected by the Lich King in order to serve as a slave, conquering his former empire and standing vigilant against any threat to his kingdom. Since that didn't go very well, what with Arthas being defeated at the end of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the Crypt Lord Anub'arak decided to try his luck in strange lands.

Gamers can see Anub'Arak charging at the surface of the map, sending an unfortunate hero flying into the air, and summoning his trusty carrion beetle to damage nearby opponents. He can also be seen trapping enemies into a paralyzing web in order to render them useless during fights, which pretty much seems like Blizzard's way of showcasing his arsenal in HOTS.

Heroes of the Storm is currently in alpha testing, scheduled for release sometime in 2015.
