14 DAY TRIAL // Heroes of the Storm has just received a brand new series of free characters for the current week, until February 9, as well as a new sale that covers heroes such as Kerrigan, not to mention skins or mounts.
Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard's big entry into the free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genre, allowing users to control all sorts of heroes and villains from across franchises like Warcraft, Starcraft, or Diablo.
The game entered closed beta last month and has since received quite a lot of new things via updates and patches, as well as the Lunar Festival event that brings forth special skins, avatars, mounts, and more.
New heroes have joined the free rotation
Like with every new week, Blizzard unleashes a new set of free heroes into the special rotation, this time allowing users to take many powerful characters for a spin. From the Diablo franchise we have, of course, Diablo, not to mention Azmodan. Starcraft users can enjoy Raynor and Zeratul, while Warcraft veterans can try out Muradin, Rehgar, and Tyrande.
Bear in mind that new players can only access a select number of heroes at first, in the form of Diablo, Muradin, Raynor, Rehgar, and Tyrande, as Azmodan is unlocked at level 12, while Zeratul is available at level 15.
New items are also on sale
Besides the fresh free hero rotation, Heroes of the Storm closed beta participants can also take advantage of some fresh discounts on a few different things.
First up, Kerrigan is available with a 50% discount, meaning that those who enjoyed her in last week's free rotation can get her on the cheap. Diablo owners can score the special Kaijo skin for a lower price, while those who want a fresh and fearsome mount can get the cyberwolf, according to the official website.
All the deals last until February 9, so make sure that you take advantage of them sooner rather than later.
