Blizzard is getting into the holiday mood with Heroes of the Storm, its recent multiplayer title, and brings forth the Lunar Festival in-game event which includes new skins for Chen and Li Li, as well as a majestic tiger mount for players with deep pockets to enjoy.

Heroes of the Storm has just entered a closed beta and Blizzard has brought forth quite a lot of different changes and additions to the free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) experience, from new balance tweaks to a new hero, Thrall, and a new battleground, Sky Temple.

The first big in-game event is live

Now, the first big in-game event for Heroes of the Storm's closed beta is live, in the form of the Lunar Festival.

According to the official website, the special event brings forth festive skins for the game's two Pandaren characters – Chen and Li Li. The skins come with a special barrel of brew for Chen and a special dragon kite for Li Li. The skins are available as separate purchases via the in-game store for 10 USD/EUR each, but those who want to score the exclusive Lunar Tiger mount must buy one of the two bundles.

The first one includes just the festive skins and costs 22.3 EUR (22.4 USD), while the second includes the skins, as well as the actual characters and costs 32.8 EUR (32.9 USD).

A small reward for all players is also included

It's not all about money, as Blizzard is offering all players who engage in at least 10 matches between January 27 and March 3 a special Lunar Festival portrait featuring both Li Li and Chen in their festive garbs. Bear in mind that the matches must be played in any mode except the custom one in order to count.
