Heroes of the Storm has just received a small hot fix update from developer Blizzard, in order to solve a series of crashes that appeared in certain situations, not to mention a few other glitches that started to happen once the title entered open beta earlier this month.

Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard's big entry in the multiplayer online battle arena genre and already lots of different people are hooked on the experience, especially since it entered an open beta stage last week, on May 19, on the PC platform.

Shortly before that, a major update was rolled out, on May 12, bringing forth a new character, in the form of Kael'thas, as well as plenty of sweeping changes and improvements to the title.

A fresh hot fix update is live for HotS

However, that big update also resulted in some pesky glitches and crashes. In order to solve some of the most pressing ones, Blizzard confirms on the official forums that a new hot fix update is available for download worldwide.

As you can see in the changelog below, the patch aims at fixing a lot of different crashes that have plagued Heroes of the Storm since its May 12 update. These include situations when the game crashed right after it was launched, as well as when certain elements of the user interface were accessed.

Framerate drops on computers that used Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics cards are also remedied by the update, as well as glitches that took away control from Rehgar players after they were affected by Anub'arak's web blast ability.

Quite a lot of other tweaks are also included in the hot fix update, so check out the full changelog below. The patch is already live across all regions on the PC platform and should be automatically downloaded by the Battle.net client the next time you start it up. In case it doesn't show up, try launching the game and then exiting it.
