14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard confirms that Heroes of the Storm now has a fresh experience gain bonus of 50% until June 15, and that all players can enjoy a new range of free heroes in the weekly rotation, not to mention some great discounts in the in-game store.
Heroes of the Storm was finally released as a final product last week, after having spent a lot of time in closed alpha and beta test stages. The title's debut was accompanied by a special update, a new hero in the form of Johanna the Crusader, and other rewards for all players.
A bigger XP bonus is now available for one week
Among the surprises was a 25% bonus XP boost for all players, which expired yesterday. Now, starting today, June 9, until next week, on June 15, an even bigger 50% XP bonus is available across all regions and player levels, according to Blizzard's website.
As such, those who've just started playing once the final version rolled around can level up their own profiles and their heroes to new heights much more easily, thereby unlocking extra in-game gold and Master skins but also access to the Hero League mode, for example.
New free heroes and discounts are also available
Besides the XP boost, Blizzard has also introduced in HotS this week's free hero rotation, which includes quite a lot of interesting characters that are available for free to most players. All HotS fans can enjoy Raynor, Muradin, Rehgar, Tyrael, and Jaina for free. Those who've reached level 12 can also play as Uther, whereas those who are now level 15 or higher can also get to experience Sylvanas.
The in-game shop also features quite a few new discounts on heroes like Tyrande or Gazlowe, not to mention on their special skins or the Magic Carpet mount. These sales are live in the Americas region and should appear in Europe later today, June 9.
