Blizzard confirms that it's going to remove the Heroes of the Storm Founder's Pack from its Battle.net online service, meaning those who have yet to gain access into the multiplayer online battle arena game should buy it before it's gone forever.

Heroes of the Storm got a special closed technical alpha stage throughout 2014, into which only a handful of players were actually invited to test the game. At the beginning of 2015, however, the closed beta stage kicked off, with more and more people being invited into the trial.

Besides inviting players directly to test out the game, Blizzard also offered a special Founder's Pack bundle for 40 USD/EUR, which effectively meant that those without invitations can buy their way into the testing process. Besides the chance to play Heroes of the Storm, buyers also got a few extra goodies, such as heroes and skins, not to mention a sum of in-game gold that they could spend on other things.

The Founder's Pack for Heroes of the Storm is going away

Now, Blizzard confirms on the official website that it will soon eliminate the ability to purchase a Founder's Pack for Heroes of the Storm. The move, which is set to take place on April 7, means that those who haven't been invited into the multiplayer game should certainly consider buying it.

According to the studio, thanks to the new invitations sent to existing players, a lot of people are now coming into Heroes of the Storm so there's no need for a Founder's Pack.

"Heroes of the Storm is now well into its Closed Beta testing phase, and many new players are entering the Nexus each week through Beta Opt-Ins, Invite Your Friends emails, and a variety of key giveaways. Now that we have more ways to obtain beta access than ever before, we’re going to be disabling the ability to purchase the Founder’s Pack and Battle Bundle," the studio explains.

As such, you can either ask for an invitation from active players or consider buying the Founder's Pack until it's gone next week.
