Adam Shaw and his pet dog Rocky are now referred to as true Canadian heroes following their rescuing two sisters, Krymzen and Samara Sunshine, from drowning in the North Saskatchewan River.

Sources say that Adam was merely enjoying a quite walk with his wife, his kids and Rocky when they became aware of the fact that two girls were struggling to get out of the water after having accidentally fallen in.

Although Adam Shaw managed to rescue Krymzen, Samara got carried even further away by the current and Rocky had to jump in after her.

Apparently, the girl grabbed hold of the dog's leash and the latter took care of bringing her close enough to the river's bank so that Adam might pull her out of the water.

"I'm very grateful for Adam Shaw and his dog. My girls are safe and sound. He is truly our angel," the girls' father reportedly told members of the press.
