Hero Dog Rescues Owner Choking on a Piece of Chicken

The online community is touched, to say the least, by the news that one hero dog from Nottingham recently saved the life of its 18-year-old owner, Aysha.

Apparently, the teenager was busy enjoying her dinner when she unfortunately chocked on a piece of chicken. Luckily for Aysha, her 4-year-old pooch, Akita, was standing right beside her and quickly understood that something was seriously off.

Sources say Akita pretty much jumped on Aysha's back and started pounding her with its paws, thus managing to dislodge the piece of chicken that was blocking the girl's airways.

Recollecting the incident, Aysha says that, as far as she is concerned, she owes her life to Akita.

“She whacked me on the back with one of her huge front paws and the piece of chicken flew out. I was at home on my own and genuinely thought I was going to die,” Aysha says.
