The folks at Robot Entertainment have just released their Hero Academy turn-based strategy game on Google Play Store. The game was already available on Steam for PC and Mac, but developers thought it would be wise to bring it to mobile platforms as well.

Hero Academy offers players the possibility to play with their friends or random opponents, as well as customize their teams and expand their roster with even more teams.

“Enter a world of swords and magic, and challenge friends old and new to a contest of tactics and skill. From the human Council to the mysterious Dark Elves, every team needs a fearless captain to lead them to victory.

Only those that leverage their team’s strengths and capitalize on their opponent’s weaknesses will protect their crystal and win the day,” says the developer.

You can now download Hero Academy for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up.
