Second Life creators Linden Lab have issued a press statement to announce that the studio has acquired Blocksworld, a brilliant physics-based iPad game where players use cubes, wedges, rockets, wheels, and motors and to create 3D models of things that move.

Blocksworld takes cues from LEGO Technic (all the way to how the pieces come together) though the software creators aren’t affiliated with the Danish construction toys manufacturer.

The models in Blocksworld come alive with realistic physics simulation and players can interact with their creations to the point where they can actually destroy them on purpose.

Blocksworld creations can be shared with other players to explore or customize them at will. The game seems to be available only in Sweden. Hopefully, with Linden’s acquisition Blocksworld will be released in App Stores worldwide.
