The concept is rather simple really, although potentially troublesome

One of the amenities that many people take for granted but is not, as said people think, a natural part of human life, is the shower. Baths are common enough in towns and cities, but they become rare the more rural life gets.

Showers are also out of people's reach when out traveling, or hiking or such. Unless one owns a particularly advanced van with a full-featured bathroom. Unlikely.

So Belgian-Australian designer Danny Venlet, as shown on DesignTaxi, put together something that will allow people to bring that luxury wherever they want. Something called Viteo.

Well, that's not quite true. The Viteo will still need a water source, since the water must come from somewhere. It has a port where a hose can be plugged.

Anyway, the way the Viteo Shower works is quite straightforward: you just have to step on it.

And we do mean that literally. The Viteo Shower is a disk that one stands on, thus causing water to sprout straight up.

The water then fells back down in the middle of the circle formed by the fluid of life, health and (impending) cleanliness.

The shower doesn't exactly come cheap though. The price is of $825, which translates into €622, according to exchange rates.

Then again, with how rarely exchange rates reflect reality, it's more likely that the EU price will be closer to €825 instead.

That goes for the multi-nozzle hose attachment too. Its price is of $12, which corresponds to €9.07, but the tag will probably be of €12 instead.

The designer didn't go into details about maximum weight support and such, so we can't know how the shower will respond to buyers that are thinner or fatter than strictly healthy, for whatever reason.

There is a site dedicated just to the suggestions of what type of locations the shower would best be used though.
