Even though Google has already confirmed that it has no intention to develop other Windows 8 apps, third-party developers come to the rescue with several programs designed to access Google services.

The so-called Google Reader Free is a very easy to use Windows 8 application developed to help adopters of Microsoft’s latest platform read Google Reader feeds without leaving the Modern UI.

It boasts an intuitive design that’s obviously in line with the Metro look and features live tiles to keep you up to date with the latest feeds landing in your Google Reader account.

The application works on x86, x64 and ARM devices and is fully optimized for the touch, which means that Windows RT users can also make the most of its features.
