The Surface tablet is coming soon, Microsoft tries to say

As you probably found out if you're living in the United States, Microsoft has adopted a fairly unique way to promote its upcoming Surface tablet.

The company uses street ads, usually placed on the walls of various stores, probably trying to show potential buyers that Surface can be used anywhere with minimum effort.

The last such advert was spotted in Los Angeles and was posted on Twitter by E.J. Coughlin, with Microsoft relying on the same “Surface” and “Click in” mottos, as well as on the old-style keyboard painted in pink.

The only difference is that, this time, the ad was placed on the wall of a liquor store called Hudson Liquor & Deli and placed on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, which makes us wonder if Microsoft is trying to convince Charlie Sheen to buy a tablet.

Either way, Microsoft's street art campaign continues, so if you haven't seen such an ad yet, you can get back here soon to find out new locations.
