Marilyn Manson has been making lots of TV cameos as of late, but not one was as promising in terms of potential to generate conflict and dangerous scenarios as his latest brush with acting: the shock rocker has been confirmed for a story arc on the seventh and final season of the hit series “Sons of Anarchy.”

News of the casting broke a short while ago, and now Entertainment Weekly is offering us impossible-to-deny confirmation, with this first photo of Manson in character. Click on the image above to see it in full.

Yes, that’s Jax (Charlie Hunnam) in orange prison clothes, sitting across the table from him. The trade publication says that the events in this new season, which premieres in the fall, will take place a mere 10 days from those in the season 6 finale, with the shocking school shooting.

Jax has been thrown in jail, and there he meets “Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson), a white supremacist shot-caller whom he uses to expand his power base.”

The “epic” final season has already been preparing fans for an exit like no other in television, which basically means that “everybody is expected to die,” as EW so bluntly puts it. Manson’s character will probably be among the fallen ones, but until he does kick the bucket, he will probably do a great job.
