Here's What's Coming in GNOME 3.2

The highly anticipated GNOME 3.2 desktop environment will be released in a few hours, a release that will bring tons of new features and improvements.

The GNOME 3.2 desktop environment is expected later tonight, but until then we can show you what to expect from it. Here's a list of highlights:

· Improved GNOME Shell;
· Quick file preview for Nautilus;
· GTK+ 3.2;
· Shell-style greeter login screen for GNOME Display Manager (GDM);
· Transparent backups (inspired by Apple's Time Machine);
· Better Color Manager;
· New app for handling contacts (integrated into Evolution and Empathy);· Better internal search;
· Human Interface Guideline (HIG) improvements;
· I-Bus input framework support;
· Easy data sharing across multiple apps;
· Better support for mobile devices;
· Integration of web apps (Facebook, Flickr, etc) into the GNOME desktop.

Boo, I hoped they remove [x] widget too. Maybe in Gnome 4.0, this would be a huge improvement finally killing Windows 7 and 8 altogether.

buddy, better brush up on those English skills, eh? "will bring tones of new features"... The plural for "ton" is "tons" not "tones"... This comes from another Romanian (just like you) who lives outside Romania. As for Gnome 3.x -- it's just bulls***, most os Gnome users still prefer version 2, so let it slide.

The plural for "ton" is "tons", correct. However, 99% of the world has switched to using the SI/metric system. Ton is an imperial measurement. The metric equivalent is "tonne", the plural of which is "tonnes" - so he was nearly right.

Must be embarassing for you, trying to correct someone and in doing so, looking even more ignorant yourself.
