Here’s What a Worn-Off Microsoft Surface Logo Looks Like

The Surface logo on the kickstand is rubbing off on most tablets

Just as we told you some time ago, the Windows logo on the back of the Surface tablet is slowly rubbing off, even if you’re not using the device too much.

It looks like this is quite a widespread issue, as plenty of users have reported it on the Microsoft support forums.

“It initially started at the bottom edge of the logo in ‘splotches’ and has slowly progressed to the rest of the logo... It's been a week and now about half of the logo is affected... and it's almost like it's happening on its own, as if the logo is getting oxidized or something,” one user explained.

There’s no way to prevent this unfortunate moment, as it appears that the logo is wearing off even if you treat the device very gently.
