Yesterday, Nokia unveiled to the world its first Windows Phone 8 devices and announced that it has packed them with appealing new features, including wireless charging, for increased convenience.

The company also published a video ad to showcase the wireless charging capabilities of the new devices, and it appears to have let slip the looks of Skype for Windows Phone 8 in it.

At the 0.16 minute mark in the video, you can see the Lumia phone placed on the charging pad, engaged in a conversation using the Skype application, as the logo in the upper right corner suggests, Plaffo found out.

The app is in full screen, and we might expect it to behave the same when officially released as well, similar to what Windows 8 apps do today.

In all fairness, we might be looking only at a mockup of the app, yet it is confirmed that Skype for Windows Phone 8 will land sooner rather than later.
