There is no human out there that never laid its hands on a candy-bar cellphone throughout its life. Well, there might be some cases but they are way too few (a couple of still savage tribes in the Amazon and I suppose that's it), so we can neglect those and head on to what I want to tell you.

From the numerous individuals that held such devices in their hand, hardly any had the chance to get a close look at something resembling the strange looking mobile phone this article is about.

The VK2200 is a slim mobile phone with a candy-bar form-factor (as I have already mentioned above), which has as a top feature a 4 megapixel digital camera with auto-focus, a CCD sensor and Flash.

Reading its spec sheet, one can also find about its tri-band 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz radio, a 260k 1.66 inch colors TFT LCD working at a 176x220 pixels resolution, 128 MB NAND Flash built-in memory, a microSD TransFlash memory expansion card slot, a music player with support for MP3, AAC and AAC+ audio files, Java MIDP 2.o technology, MP3 ringtones, Bluetooth, USB 1.1 and GPRS Class 10 connectivity, all of them packed up in a package measuring 97.8 x 49.5 x 12.5 mm and weighing 77 grams.

That isn't very impressing considering the cellphones available in the retail stores at the moment but, hey, there is a quite good looking weirdish keypad you'll get to play with if you are willing to pay the price of 2995 Danish Crowns VK Mobile has published on its official website.

Although you wouldn't think of it, the big round button you can see in the left side of the keypad is really useful because it acts the same way as the Nokia universal key does.

Despite its functionality, I still think that huge key makes the handset look veeeeerry weird and if you don't believe me, check for yourself in the video (made by mgc-mag.net) you can find bellow.
