As the time nears for the introduction of Intel's fourth-generation Core series of central processing units, the world is watching for it closely.

So closely that even the smallest rumor or leak about the Haswell Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs is reported on.

The latest such report comes form, surprise surprise, Hermitage Akihabara website.

Apparently, the retail box of the Core i7-4770K CPU has appeared online.

It has a cutout in the middle, allowing a clear glimpse of the chip's top layer (the IHS as it were, integrated heatspreader).

The box is covered in primary colors and has the theme “creativity.”

Core i7-4770k has a price of $330. That corresponds to €253, according to exchange rates, although the EU tag is more likely to be of €330 instead.
