The next couple of weeks will be crazy for both handset makers and consumers, as Samsung, HTC, Sony and Nokia will launch their high-end smartphones on the market.

Although the Finnish company has yet to confirm its new devices for this month, we’re certain that Nokia will release at least one Windows Phone handset sometime this month.

HTC One M8 is already available for purchase in the UK and United States and will go on sale worldwide by the end of April.

Samsung has also confirmed that it will bring its Galaxy S5 to the masses on April 5, while Sony’s Xperia Z2 is slowly rolling out worldwide as we speak.

The rollout of so many top-tier smartphones makes it difficult for customers to choose the right device for them, which is why some may be lured into buying a certain gadget based on the advertising done by the handset makers.

In an attempt to teach its reps how to attract more customers into buying its Galaxy S5 smartphone, Samsung has pinpointed four reasons why someone should buy its device over one of its main competitors, the HTC One M8.

The following list of arguments has been unveiled during a training session in China and, as GforGames points out, it represents Samsung’s take on why the Galaxy S5 is better than the HTC One M8.

Some of these arguments might seem childish and lacking reason, but ultimately, it is the customer’s opinion that counts in determining what is the best device for their needs. Without any further ado, here are Samsung’s four reasons for why you should choose the Galaxy S5 over the HTC One M8:

“1. The HTC M8 is not dust and waterproof, while the SGS5 is IP67 certified;

2. Galaxy S5′s camera is better, with a higher amount of megapixels, quicker focus, and overall, ‘more professional’;

3. The HTC One M8 is not as user friendly as the S5. Samsung’s flagship boasts childproof features, a removable battery and the new Ultra Power Saving Mode;

4. The HTC One M8 is not as secure as the S5. The M8 lacks a fingerprint scanner while the S5 has one, on top of KNOX.”

This is just a sample of how Samsung plans to pitch the Galaxy S5 to customers, but we’re certain that the South Korean company will use other methods/taglines as well to make sure that its flagship smartphone is being picked by as many people as possible.

What do you think about Samsung’s arguments? Do you think they are valid enough to justify Galaxy S5’s supremacy over the HTC One M8?
