OK, I admit that Google is one of the largest companies in the entire world and probably the most powerful firm if you refer to search engines. What makes Google so powerful and attractive? The answer is, of course, its employees. Google is more than a simple company; it is a huge community of professional employees working hardly to bring the search giant's name in the spotlights with new and powerful products. Some time ago, Forbes online publication named Google as the best company in the world to work for because it has the highest salaries bundled with amazing bonuses, promotions and atmosphere. If you didn't know, any of the Google employees has 20 percent of his work time available for individual projects.

At this time, Google has 10.674 employees as Wikipedia reports but they are all organized on an impressive number of departments, products and regional offices of the company. So, I guess the life at Google is really a dream but the requirements to become a Googler are really harsh. Take a look at the Google Jobs page, a website especially designed by the company to recruit new experienced people from every corner of the world.

Today, a Google Reader team member posted a message on the official page of the product to sustain the affirmation saying that a Google job is more than a way to earn money. Brad Hawkes, the newest member of the Google Reader team, sustained the Google employees are very experienced and the best in the tech industry.

"As the newest member of the Reader team, I am excited to be working with all of the great people who spend their days making the world a better place for reading feeds. I originally started working on Reader as an intern during the summer of 2006. That experience was a ton of fun and a great way to learn. Working as an intern also allowed me to work with people who are some of the best in the tech industry. After that experience I was very happy to come on full-time. For those of you who are interested in looking into the internship program you can find information here: Internship Information. Google is always looking for the best and brightest engineers. Who knows, you might even get to work on Reader," the newest employee said.
