If you saw “Warrior” with Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton and thought to yourself, “hey, this movie could use a bit more Kevin James,” today's your lucky day. Above is the trailer for “Here Comes the Boom.”

On a more serious note, this new Sony comedy has nothing in common with the drama “Warrior,” except that both have teachers as leads, who turn to MMA fighting to raise a given sum of money.

Kevin James isn't exactly a model teacher, but he does have a heart of gold in “Here Comes Boom,” directed by Frank Coraci (“The Waterboy”).

Because budget cuts are in order and would leave kids in the school with zero extracurricular activities, James' character goes into MMA to raise the money needed.

Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler also star, with endorsements from the UFS. “Here Comes the Boom” will be out on October 12.

Just for fun, we're also including below the trailer for “Warrior,” which is arguably one of the best and most touching films of 2011.
