14 DAY TRIAL // Apple this week opened up a new section on the iTunes App Store promoting the who’s who in gaming, from stunning lookers, to games that offer a hardcore experience, or quick casual fun.
Dubbed Benchmark Games, the new section promises to offer a “standard-setting experience” for every type of user.
“Wether you’re a casual player or a veteran gamer, you won’t want to miss these outstanding games. All of them lead and define their respective categories in important ways, setting standards for creative gameplay, beautiful graphics and other important features,” reads Apple’s marketing.
iPhone and iPad gaming fans are encouraged to explore the entire collection of games “to discover an addictive sampling of some of the greatest interactive experiences that iOS has to offer.”
Categories include Innovative Gameplay, Intuitive Controls, Stunning Graphics, Quick Fixes, Hardcore Games.
Visit the App Store and wait for the Benchmark Games banner to reel into position, then click it to enter the new section and find your next favorite game.
