14 DAY TRIAL // The PlayStation Network saw the release of a large variety of independent games in 2011 so, in order to help people sort them out, Sony has made a few lists of the best selling indie titles on the online network, including those that were published by the studios themselves or with the help of the Japanese company.
Sony is adamant in supporting independent developers on its platforms, and has once again highlighted the variety of efforts it’s been doing to help studios which have just started in the business get their games onto PlayStation platforms.
In order to highlight the breakaway hits of the year, the company has now made a couple of top ten lists, showcasing the most successful titles that appear on its online service.
In terms of games published straight by their indie developers, Playdead’s Limbo reigns supreme, followed by The Behemoth’s Castle Crashers and Creat Studios’ TestYourself Psychology. Other great titles also made the top ten, including Marvel Pinball, Dungeon Defenders, or Braid, so check them out below.
