14 DAY TRIAL // Improvements and tweaks on a superhero’s costume are usually noticeable from one installment to the next, within the same film franchise. In the case of the Superman played by Henry Cavill, the differences between the suit he wore in “Man of Steel” and the one he’ll be donning in the upcoming “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” appear to be minor.
The handsome Brit had been snapped by the paparazzi at work on the Detroit set of the movie but never before in costume, which caused some anxiety among fans thinking that director Zack Snyder was probably preparing a surprise where it was concerned.
After all, his Batman has almost nothing to do with the one we’ve seen on film so far, so who knew what else he could have up his sleeve. You can see a photo of the Batsuit in the gallery below.
As far as Superman goes, fans had nothing to worry about. From what I can tell, the only difference between the costumes is in the brightness of the colors, but that could probably be explained by the way “Man of Steel” was shot because it was made on purpose to look darker and with less vibrant colors.
There could be a difference in those panels on the sides, in the sense that they seem to be missing or less obvious now. I can’t tell with certainty because Cavill is wearing a robe over the suit, because his people definitely imagined he would be hounded by the paparazzi and that was one good way of ruining the shot.
Other than that, as you can see, Henry Cavill remains an almost impossibly handsome man, especially in that Superman suit. The ladies are bound to love this installment as well, you can bet on that.
“Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be out in theaters in March 2016.
