There’s a very good reason why Henry Cavill is so popular these days and, yes, it’s different from his talent and good looks. Henry is an amazing interview and, as it turns out, also a very down to earth, awesome guy to be around.

Cavill will be seen soon in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, “Man of Steel,” but if you imagine it’s already gone to his head, you couldn’t be any more wrong.

“I suppose it’s a fluke,” he tells Details about landing the part. Snyder, though, would probably beg to differ.

“It’s about who looks right for the character and for the generation it’s being cast for. If you only look at the American market, you’re narrowing down your options an awful lot. The point of acting is to pretend you’re someone else and sell a story,” he says.

In the same interview, Cavill talks about how Snyder plans to reinvent Superman by making him a superhero of our times and thus breaking free from the style of the old TV show and films.

He also uses the phrase “epically cool” to describe it.

The first trailer for “Man of Steel” arrives in theaters on December 14.
