I must recognize that I found Google Translate very useful in some cases when I had no idea about the text displayed on certain pages but sometimes, the product makes me more confused because the translated text is quite wrong. If you didn't know, Google Translate is currently available in multiple languages but it also provides some new ones marked as beta. Because a human's translation will be always better than a computer one, Google now allows you
to suggest a better translation for the beta languages using a simple box displayed on the resulting page.
The procedure is quite simple: visit the official page of the product and enter the website address you want to translate. Choose a beta language, let's say Russian. After you'll press the translate button, Google will return you the translated site with the possibility of replacing certain words. All you need to do is move your cursor over a desired word and the search giant will open a small popup window asking you to suggest a better translation.
If you decide to replace some text in the translation, Google will return you the following message:" Thank you for contributing your translation suggestion to Google Translate." Although it seems like any user is able to change specific words, I guess the company's employees will review your translation and approve or reject it.
This is not the first Google attempt to improve certain services with users' help, Image Search representing another product to be updated using feedback messages. The search giant revealed a special game that connects two users and displays them the same picture, requiring a description for the object shown in the photo. This way, Google collects the information and tries to make the search technology more relevant according to the keyword entered by the users.
