Firefighters have almost been crushed by collapsing walls while inside a home, during a mission. The moment when they make their narrow escape has been caught on video on one of their helmet cameras.

Fire Captain Randy Christiansen mentions the incident happening at a home in Boise, on the intersection of Castle Drive and Hill Road, on August 1.

Christiansen realizes that the crew will be trapped inside and tells the rest of the members via radio. Had they been there 15 seconds more, the incident would have resulted in casualties.

The firefighters' close escape has been relayed by King 5 and shot by Christiansen's brother, Captain Rob Christiansen.

"Several crews members were in close proximity, got hit by flying debris," Battalion Chief Steve Rasulo states, relieved with the fact that nobody has been severely injured.
