Contact AdWords by phone

The search giant is now encouraging users to contact the company by telephone and talk straight with an AdWords specialist. Google sent an email to multiple AdWords publishers informing them about the possibility of contacting the company by phone, sustaining the service is available everyday between certain hours. David Naylor, AdWords advertiser, posted the Google message on his blog, adding that he didn't do anything wrong to receive the email. "Thank you for advertising with the Google AdWords program. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide you with the best service possible, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to contact our AdWords specialists by telephone. You can now call our dedicated local rate number. We look forward to providing you with the most effective advertising available," it was mentioned in the message.

It seems that the messages aren't new, as multiple AdWords members received them in the past, too. Although there is no official reason for sending the mail, it looks like Google selects only the large companies that are advertising on the Internet using the search giant's solution. However, this is something new because it was extremely difficult to contact the Mountain View firm and talk about the advertising platform.

Recently, it was reported that several AdWords accounts were hacked and used to distribute malware files on the Internet. At that time, the affected members sustained that the only possibility to solve the problem was to wait for the Google email message, because there was no other efficient way in which they could contact the company. A telephone number for the hack victims is probably a very good idea so maybe the search giant plans to expand its offer to all the AdWords advertisers. At least in the countries that have Google Offices...
