You should always know that something’s not right when an email that purports to come from a big company starts with “hello dear.” Such is the case of the latest malicious notifications that claim to originate from DHL Express International.

The recipients of these emails are told that the processing was “complete successfully.”

They’re also instructed to view the attachment for further details. Experts from Sophos have analyzed the so-called delivery details and found the file to contain a piece of malware identified as Troj/Agent-WMO.

To help you identify such emails, here are some of the common subject lines:
- DHL Express Parcel Tracking notification [random code];
- DHL Express Tracking Notification ID [random code];
- DHL International Notification for shipment [random code]
.

Users are advised to ignore such emails and delete them before clicking on any of the links, or before opening the attachments. Also, be sure to install a reliable antivirus solution to protect you against such threats.
