Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is pretty much the biggest opportunity to get in touch with Redmond executives and employees, try out the new solutions developed by the company, and discuss agreements that could help you grow your business, but for some, it was the forbidden fruit.

Google, Amazon, Oracle, Salesforce, and VMWare were all banned from attending WPC for fear that Microsoft's trade secrets and confidential information could get leaked, so it was more or less a method to make sure that Redmond was not handing over in any way internal information to its rivals.

But starting with this year's WPC event, all these companies are allowed to attend the show and there's no doubt that all would rush to register to make sure some of their top employees go there in Orlando to discover Microsoft's very latest products and plans.

Possibly a way to work with partners

There are absolutely no details or statements from Microsoft, but BI reports that a company spokesperson has already confirmed that Google, Amazon and the other companies will be allowed to attend the upcoming WPC 2015.

There's plenty of room to speculate, but it's believed that this decision belongs to CEO Satya Nadella himself, who agreed to let partners join in an attempt to get closer to them and possibly start working together on a number of projects.

It's a well-known fact that, under Satya's umbrella, Microsoft has become more of a gentleman company that no longer attacks or criticizes rivals, but focuses on its very own products and tries to make them better with help from users.

Nadella will obviously be one of the key speakers at WPC 2015, which this year will take place in Orlando between July 12 and July 16.

Partners who want to register and attend the show need to fill in the application on the official website of the event. Google, Amazon, and Oracle employees have to follow the same steps.
