At first, there was the rumor, then came the announcing. Now it's all clear. Helio Ocean is officially out on the market for everyone to enjoy.

The release of Helio Ocean took place at CTIA in Orlando. It is an innovative phone model with a captivating design and original dual-slide capability. Its rounded corners and large 2.4 inch QVGA screen make it look extremely modern and stylish, as well as practical. Even more, the case hides both a fully functional QWERTY keypad and a normal one, for best adapting to the user's needs at all times.

Helio Ocean has many interesting aspects that make it attractive especially to the high-tech lovers out there. The integrated GPS will prove more than useful many times, as well as the Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support as a solution for connectivity. Another attractive feature is that this phone model has integrated IM, email, text messaging, picture messaging and is also capable of photo or video upload with GPS tagging.

Helio Ocean comes equipped with a 2 Megapixel camera and it can also support MP3, AAC and WMA DRM audio. Even more, it is capable of rendering video images in MPEG4 and H.264 formats. The 200 MB of space might turn out to be insufficient for what this phone is capable of doing. But fear not, Helio Ocean supports expandable memory of up to 2 GB via microSD slot.

Helio is an MVNO wireless carrier in the United States that came to life as a result of the partnership between SK Telecom and Earthlink. They provide innovative high-end devices on a nationwide high-speed 3G network.

Helio Ocean is out on stores for a suggested retail price of USD 259.
