Helio Launches Its Online Mobile Services

Helio's online service for mobile devices is now officially available. The service is crammed with features like Myspace and Yahoo! integration, group picture and video messaging, dynamic news and easy ways to make friends and receive information.

One of the main features of the service is access to Myspace. This allows users to post photos directly from the phone (Helio members benefit from more photo storage space on Myspace), write and read Myspace mail and blogs, add or view profiles.

A partnership with Yahoo! gives users access to Yahoo! services such as Yahoo! Search, Yahoo!
Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Finance and allows them to easily run searches directly from the mobile's screen.

Helio On Top provides users with pre-selected news feeds from various sources including Fandango, Fox Sports, IGN, MTV News, MySpace, POPSUGAR, Surfline, The Onion, Yahoo!.

The gaming service gives users access to game ratings and reviews, cheat codes and game previews. Users can try games for 99 cents for a week before buying them for a price of $5.99. Also, users have the possibility to purchase games for other people or ask friends to purchase games from them.

Other features of the service include video streaming and download from ABC, ABC News, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports, FUEL TV, IGN, MTV Networks' brands including COMEDY CENTRAL, IFILM, Logo, MTV, Spike TV and VH1, Ripe TV, RocketBoom, Speed, StupidVideos.com, and WireImage.com, picture and text messaging, the possibility to switch accounts between different devices for those who possess more than one phone, phone personalization via animated screens, ring tones and video ringers.

There are three pricing plans available for the service: the All-In Membership gives users 1,000 anytime minutes for $85/month, 1,500 anytime minutes for $100/month or 2,500 anytime minutes for $135/month, while the A La Carte plan offers 500 minutes for $40.

Helio is now available through www.helio.com, 888-88-HELIO, and through approximately 1,000 retail locations.

The Hero and the Kickflip phones are also available for $275 and $250 respectively.
