Helena Bonham Carter, the mother of a 2-year-old boy called Billy Ray, wants a bigger family.
The 39-year-old actress would love to have more children, but she fears she is too old to give birth again.

"I would like another if I get lucky. I'm 39 now, so the odds aren't great", Carte said.

"I actually like being a mother. Mothers are great", the Fightclub actress added.

Helena Bonham Carter has also recalled some of the most painful moments in her life.

At the age of 13, the actress was asked by her dad to help him die after a stroke had left him paralyzed. Helena chose to live with her parents, helping her mom looking after her father. Raymond Bonham Carter died last year, at the age of 74.

The actress also revealed she has suspected at one point that her long-term partner, Tim Burton, might have suffered by a form of autism.

While doing some research for a TV movie, in which she plays the real life mother of four autistic children, she met some kids with Asperger's Syndrome. Carter noticed that Burton also shared the main symptom, which is an above average intelligence but less developed social and communication skills.

"Tim will kill me, but while making this drama I realized he actually has a bit off Asperger's in him. You start recognizing the signs", she said.

"We were watching a documentary about autism and he said that's how he felt as a child.
(�) They (autistic people) have application and dedication. You can say something to Tim when he's working and he doesn't hear you", the actress added.

"But that quality also makes him a fantastic father; he has an amazing sense of humor and imagination. He sees things other people don't see. Billy is enchanted by him", Helena concluded.
