Eleanor Roosevelt (Helen Mirren) shares a kiss with Marilyn Monroe in SNL skit

Dame Helen Mirren may be 65 years old, but she’s clearly not the one to pass on the opportunity of having fun – which is precisely what she did with her stint on Saturday Night Live.

Described by the media as anything from “unexpected” to “incredibly saucy,” Mirren’s appearance on SNL earned her even more fans than she had before.

She clearly went to great lengths to move away from her previous image, bringing to life naughty characters who, in one particular case, had a cleavage that could transport anyone to heaven.

Of the many skits she did for the show, there was one in which she played an exotic dancer, one where she was Eleanor Roosevelt, and another where she played herself.

In the last one, which you can also see below, Nasim Pedrad comes barging in Mirren’s changing room with a very special request: she wants to touch her breasts, this being her most ardent wish ever.

Once she does this, she’s transported into another world, a heaven-like world (but only better), where even Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl likes to hang out every now and then.

As it turns out, Mirren’s cleavage is so magical it even works as a “cure” for a bad day, the only difference being probably that it’s cheaper than, say, a shopping spree to boost the mood.

In another segment, which you can also see below, the British actress took on Eleanor Roosevelt in a mock-trailer for “The Roosevelts,” mocking the latest 8-part docu-series “The Kennedys” with Katie Holmes.

Because the new “documentary” is only 10% fact, Eleanor shares a passionate kiss with Marilyn Monroe – and Mirren is clearly up for the part.

Other scenes from the docu-series show Eleanor ordering the bombing of Pearl Harbor on the phone, and asking Adolf Hitler (“But all I want to do is paint!”) to start World War II.

Below are three of Helen Mirren’s skits on Saturday Night Live. *Be advised that some discretion is recommended when watching them. Enjoy.
